Day 1: Moscow
  • Arrival in Moscow.
  • Transfer from the airport with an English-speaking guide.

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Sightseeing tour of Moscow. The historical centre of Moscow, the Kremlin and its cathedrals, monasteries, impressive fortresses and amazing palaces demonstrate the authentic culture and art of the late Middle Ages in Russia. Moscow is one of the rare examples of a good,preserved atmosphere of an old city, caring for its beauty, however events unfold.
  • Excursion to the Moscow Kremlin and Kremlin Cathedrals. Moscow Kremlinwas rebuilt several times since its construction in 1156by order of Prince Yuri Dolgoruky as a wooden fortress. Today’s Kremlin was built during the 15th century by Italian architects after the seat of the Orthodox Church had been moved to Moscow. The rebuilding of cathedrals and chapels of that time shaped the modern appearance of the Kremlin.

  • In early morning, arrive in Irkutsk, capital of the Eastern part of Siberia. Meet your guide and have a transfer to one of the city restaurants for breakfast. Then enjoy guided sightseeing tour of Irkutsk. Today we will have opportunities to take pictures of richly carved old-style wooden houses, see the Monument to Russian Pioneers of Siberia topped by the bronze figure of Alexander-the 3rd, the White House of Siberian Province.
  • Transfer by coach to Listvyanka settlement – «the Gateway to Lake Baikal» located in the mouth of the Angara-river, 70 km away from Irkutsk. On the way to Listvyanka visit to Taltsy Open-Air Museum of Wooden Architecture – the highlight museum of Irkutsk region, the place for all people to experience the history and traditions of the peoples of Siberia- Buryats, Evenks and Russians.
