On the last week one more group of seniors, under the patronage of Starost v radost Charitable Foundation, had a short trip, organized by Olta Travel. Twenty residents of Shilovskiy home for elderly and disabled people visited Ryazan – a very beautiful and one of the oldest cities in Russia with long and rich history.
The group had a Sightseeing tour through the main landmarks of Ryazan, visited the Kremlin – the most valuable part of the city with impressive architectural monuments: Assumption Cathedral and the Cathedral’s Bell tower. The professional guide Yuriy told them the history of the city, which is very exciting! Then they’ve had a lunch in local café and finished the day visiting the Beekeeping Museum, where the participated in degustation of different kinds of honey.
This is already the third charity trip that we are organizing for seniors under the patronage of Starost v radost foundation and this brings to each of us a real inspiration to make our own contribution and do more good deeds. There are so much people in need in the world!
